When do I switch tret percentages?

I've been on 0.025% tret for 50 days now, so I haven't seen any noticeable results yet, but I'm considering getting a prescription for 0.05%. Usually purging occurs a 2-3 weeks in but the most my skin has been affected was very VERY little peeling a week or so ago. Should I wait until I use the entire tube or should I get a higher percentage now?

Everyday at night, cream, and oily but it's gotten drier as I've been using tret

cream on oily skin can clog pores and thus not penetrate as deep, but if youre seeing peeling it should mean its working on you

you should up it when you are not peeling at all/ no irritation keep going and see if you want to switch to a gel formula instead, also what are u mainly looking for in terms of progress?

I want my skin clear and smooth, i have a ton of imperfections and some red spots and clumps of acne on my mandible and forehead

for me red spots and acne especially around my jaw were rlly stubborn , after it started getting better i switched to a gel formula and it felt better on me (i have oily skin ) i was on 0.025 until i stopped purging and didnt see improvements on my texture , i only switched to 0.05 then
