I have been using tretinoin weekly for a month now (Inconsistently for 6 months). The first month I put it on twice in a row and because I got shit faced, I left it on much longer than normal. What happened was my skin felt tighter especially around the eyes and mouth.
I just used tretinioin yesterday and my skin feels sensitive, and it is a little bit shiny.
I suppose If the day after, I don't notice any irritation, that Is when I should Increase to 2x a week?
I also hear about people basically forcing tret on their skin until their skin adapts, but I don't think I can enjoy my face tight and dry like that.
I am expressive and I like want to eat and not have to feel like the food greasy is seeping into the cracks of my skin.
Thoughts?
