I find it utterly foolish when people blame their parents for their genes. They didn’t choose them, and you could just as well blame your grandparents, which would lead to an endless cycle. The irony is that your parents found a partner and reproduced, so you can too. What would you do if your child turned out ugly and then blamed you for his unhappiness? In my family, we actually carry good genetics- high IQ, good looks, relatively tall asf.
And yet, I’m not where I could be, simply because my parents neglected the most essential foundations during the critical stages of development.

Parental neglect can irreversibly ruin lives.
