Try to eat most of ur carbs before gym, its fuel.

yh carbs should only be consumed as an energy source before the gym

How long before gym do you usually eat them?
Depends, if its a big meal, usually about 2-3 hours, if its a pre workout, 30 mins 1 hour. Test it yourself. The digestion is different to everyone

You need both simple and complex carbs, simple are best an hour before you workout while complex are good for restoring glycogen storage post workout and in the morning pair both complex and simple carbs with fats to balance glucose levels

i condemn carbs but if u go gym then it is acceptable to have a bit before

If I take the brown rice out then I miss out on calories though, and my fat will be too high
