For status maxxed actors how were they so successful if looks are so important for actors? Shouldnt good looks halo them to get them status and which makes them look better, ie ryan gosling / michael b jordan

They started as child actors giving them the foundation and connections to climb up and land good roles. Ryan Gosling and Michael B Jordan were both child actors. No way they would land any role if they tried auditioning for the first time as adults
