When to apply azelaic acid?

I have been applying it with my tretininon at night.i saw some people saying to apply it at day . Whats more optimal?. And i always wash my face in the evening so would the azelaic acid wear off if i do so ?

Apply it morning and night, but if you only want to apply it once a day, choose the morning. Tretinoin strictly only at night, you will cause skin damage if you apply it in the day time and have contact with the sun.

Honestly 10% wont do shit. Im on tretinoin 0,05% and 20% azelaic acid and i use tretinoin twice a week at night, and everyday in the morning i put azelaic acid
