melatonin is good for people with adhd to fall asleep and i can’t sleep for even 6 hours a night so i take it mostly for that reason. my adhd is mild so i never needed meds

But you gotta take into account, that there are vendors you can purchase from everywhere across the globe, various spots in Europe, America, Asia, etc. so just find one close (you can filter by location), or who ships to your area.

Nope, every time I take one, I'm betting my life on the hope it doesn't contain fentanyl or worse.
With that said, the dextroamphetamine I purchase exclusively is branded, in blisters, with a unique identifier (batch number) & expiration date. It's more expensive this way, but also safer.
Doesn't mean it's impossible it was conjured up in some rundown drug lab, but it decreases the possibility significantly enough for me to take that risk.

I would do the same, there is a way to mitigate risk but that requires investment and is too much hassle, you could buy powder, send it off to testing - if positive result for something you dont want = take it anyway and have to press ur own pill carefully with filler for required concentration, or throw it out and keep looking.
