I got a cheap plane ticket for 830 usd (cheapest ones generally cost around 1600 usd while minimum wage is 130 usd a month), I've seen they cost like 750usd in the US while minimum wage there ranges from 1350 usd a month at the lowest to over 3k in emeryville and the US is closer to pretty much every other country, in argentina I'm literally on the other side of the world from east asia and far away from everything, flight takes like 37 hours to arrive.

As a UKcel, I can't ever financially justify visiting anywhere other than Europe /North Africa.

Flights to Asia and Americas + accomodation costs the same as 3-4 holidays in Europe. I wouldn't wanna go on a 12 hour flight just to stay 3-4 days in Japan. Would have to be a week at least.
