There actually quotes from salaf that encourage lowering gaze even towards other men and some that hold the opinion it can be natural. It's just not okay to act on or encourage it. Even then some scholars like ibn qayimm were at least willing to just ignore certain degeneracy like persian incest marriage

I understand what you mean, I remember arguing with muzzies on here who claimed that God actually has hands and stuff like that, instead of understanding these terms are used so that mankind can understand in their own terms. Muzzies can be so low IQ, they rarely do research and they just follow whatever a scholar says. Although I am from a Sunni household, I disagree with certain aspects. Similarly, I agree with some aspects of Shi’a Islam. But so far there’s only one school of thought that I can relate to the most and it’s been said it predates both Sunni and Shi’a Islam.
