The gonions shouldn’t be much lower than the center of the lips or the bottom lip from frontal view. Gonial angle should be in the 110-120 degrees range ideally. So having a ramus tall enough such that your angle of the mandible/gonions meet the center/bottom part of the mouth area (from frontal view) and then over top of that having a chin tall enough such that your gonial angle is 110-120 degrees. That would, IMO, be ideal.

Ideally you want it under the lip. Most people have it around the lower lip and recessed people above, but you need also some harmony otherwise it will look like shit
