Which ADHD Med is the best?

I’m in Eu so I can’t get Adderall and for US cells Vyvanse = Elvanse .

From what I have read Ritalin short and long release doesn’t work good since the concentration has big highs and downs and isn’t consistent.

  Thats what the website says and its true since if you look at the left graph D-amphetamine has a higher peak and at around hour 4 you get less serum concentration than with lisdexamfetamine

My experience with Elvanse and Concerta:
Elvanse makes me super super aggressive and my parents hate Elvanse
Concerta gives me headaches


I dont know what to do or how to solve it. I thought of taking Concerta (headaches) or Elvanse (aggression) and pair it with Guanfacine, which makes you calmer.

the shit im taking is just better than elvanse. elvanse is lisdexamfetamine which is aigh, the adderall im doing is a mix of dextro and levo amphetamines which make u hella euphoric, hella motivated and locked in and supresses appetite completely. ts literally limitless pill while feeling like i have a body high all day

Well once it actually worked I did function better. But it was short lived at most 3-4 hours. And then it tapered off fast. Also it made me concentrate and i could think more clearly. But it didn’t feel like I was drugged. Other than that I had no heart palpitations or problems

I found it improves task initiation a lot and can keep you locked in better, especially the first day. After some regular use the contrast was less so if I stopped taking it I could still focus and initiate tasks better, but only to a slightly lesser extent. So I recommend cycling it 5 days on 2 days off. Very good drug. I have heard anecdotes about ritalin being ass. Also modafinil works good but you will spend your time focusing on the wrong tasks. So it it makes you able to keep running for longer, but it does not necessarily gives you the drive to become more productive like how dex does it.

It really depends on you as individual lol, anyway I take methylphenidate but that is because dextroamphetamine makes me hypersensitive to stuff I am allergic to, it is the better/more effective drug otherwise for me. It is however also more neurotoxic, also more liable to cause things like acne. One way to maybe boost stimulants for ADHD is combining it with selegiline.

If you have psychosis already though stimulants are maybe not a good idea lol, you can try combining them with a partial dopamine agonist like low dose aripiprazole or cariprazine, might give you a good balance, plus dopamine agonists bind to D2/D3 receptors in brain regions that can be very low in dopamine availability. And yeah some nootropics guys with anhedonia/depression/low motivation even do this in low dosages it isn't as crazy as it sounds. Full dopamine agonists like pramipexole or cabergoline can also work but if you are prone to psychosis it can be a really bad idea. At least consider trying it(aripiprazole/cariprazine/brexpiprazole in low dosages) if nothing else works, combining it with stims is fine and even some schizophrenics and bipolaroids can do this without triggering psychosis or mania etc.

Some also like modafinil and even prefer it over methylphenidate or amphetamines but that is it. You can also combine stimulants with a NRI like reboxetine or nortriptyline, weirdly works well for some especially nortriptyline is a very hidden good ADHD drug. Atomoxetine is pro-depressive for some due to binding to kappa opioid receptors(dysphoric).

Reason dextroamphetamine sucks for some but regular amphetamine doesn't is because the latter is 50% levoamphetamine and that is a very strong noradrenaline releasing agent, dextroamphetamine is very selective for dopamine. Some just need that levo-amphetamine "kick in the butt". Also caffeine + nicotine on top of your stack might help you further. Selegiline if taken orally in 5-10 mg dosages ie MAO-B selective will at least metabolize into a fair amount of levo-meth/amphetamine so maybe that can actually work together with Vyvanse or IR dextroamphetamine(not sure if you even have instant release dextroamphetamine in the UK?). Where I live you can get both Vyvanse/Elvanse + IR dextroamphetamine, you can also if really necessary get regular amphetamine on an import license if d-amph just sucks too much for you and you need the noradrenaline releasing agent component.

Edit: If you live in the UK you can just order selegiline cheap from overseas pharmacies or India too I believe?
Edit2: If taking selegiline be careful combining stims with unselective/MAO-A inhibiting dosages, that can give you a hypertensive crisis.

Modafinil is a DRI but a classic actual one, very weak compared to methylphenidate which is actual an inverse agonist at DAT and releasing agent - reuptake inhibitor like cocaine, it doesn't affect TAAR1 and VMAT2 like dextroamphetamine which is why it is much weaker at increasing dopamine, but modafinil is actually a true DRI unlike MPH. But yeah if you already tried it and it sucked forget about it.

And okay I got autism too and got zero problems with caffeine and nicotine lol, got zero to do with autism.

Also you're not depressed or anhedonic on top of all shit? That feeds a lot into ADHD too.
