Which is better, marpe or lefort 1

I have a recessed maxilla and its fairly narrow too (6 tooth smile) and minimal zygo projection, im 16 and was told to wait until I turn 18 before I have anything done. Because its only lefort 1, not 2 or 3. Should I get marpe instead because I want my mouth, palate and overall midface widened and zygo projection. And lefort 1 will only fix recessed maxilla

Lefort 1 doesnt have the widening benefits of marpe though

If your goal is widening of the maxilla and palate

Then do MARPE


If you want to get forward growth, do lefort 1

If you want forward growth + zygomatic projection do lefort 2

Marpe was painful but it definitely works and you should get it before your sutures close
