Who are the best philosophers

Nietzsche, Camus, Heidegger, Marx, and Socrates.

Not necessarily, there are lots of egoists who subscribe to marxist economics because they as workers would benefit from implementing socialism.

Im an 'egoist', I wouldn't say I subscribe to any philosophy, it's just recognizing ethics, morality ect are all just nonsense delusion.

I'm guided by my will or my ego, I don't care if it's right or wrong.

Im not bothered by the lack of 'meaning' in life, despairing over anything is silly.

The only thing that exists is the world, my will and my ability to exercise that will over the world.
Egoism in the worldly sense or egoism in the spiritual sense? Stirner makes a distinction on the commonly referred to worldly egoism and the spiritual individual egoism.

He argues that an egoism based on the worldly pursuits rather than the philosophical ones puts sacrality on a piedestal and creates the involuntary egoist. But an egoist whose drive is the unique and spiritual will stop valuing the materialistic world and seek only true egoism, hence the quote; "All things are nothing to me." This is where one pursues the ideas of ones own instead of that of society and the world.

He uses this argument when speaking of the Jew as well.

"To this day the Jews, those precocious children of antiquity, have got no farther; and with all the subtlety and strength of their prudence and understanding, which easily becomes master of things and forces them to obey it, they cannot discover spirit, which takes no account whatever of things."

Sounds like nietzsche's superman.

I have formed my own internal framework for how I want things done or be. Basic worldly desires are very far down on the hierarchy of needs and I'm neither poor or a retard, so I'm mostly concerned with the 'self actualization' stage.

Yes mirin, but let the self-actualization be of unique and egoistic nature rather than materialistic.

Ideally it should be only spiritual but since this act in itself breeds more spirituality it is a good one.
I think it's silly to abandon a bunch of what life has to offer over 'spiritual enlightenment' or whatever.

I'm not outside the natural world but I'm not a dumb animal, my personal enlightenment/self mastery involves my own mental and physical perfection as well as influencing the world, shaping the world in an intelligent way is what makes you human but the world also shapes and influences you back.

Don't become an involuntary egoist my friend, brutally over when sacrality is placed on a piedestal.

:lul:

I don't think I'm on the path to that. The primary part of life for me is to enjoy it and be satisfied when I die. To do that, I let all my impulses have their turn, be it my drive for knowledge or even just enjoying food I made. For now, I think I have a decent balance.
