The asian community is small in america and they're stereotypically feminine and isolated from society. There is literal to no representation in american media lol. Same for indians. At least Asians have a history in America dating back to the mid 1800s and they have a lot more representation than Indians. There are also a lot of 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation Asians so the community has a lot of them that are westernized

The past generation of indians are nerdy techcels bit its not like that anymore. @SPFromNY914 was right, Indian zoomers are more acclimated to Black + Latin culture now anyways

Indians dont have the large communities that the chinese usually have here in america. This can make things more difficult but I think in the end its better. I have met many indians who know hindi and english, but in my entire life, I have never met a single indian here who didnt know english. But I have met many chinese that cant say anything more than a few english words and they spend their whole life working in a chinese restaurant.
It seems that overall they are both treated about the same by americans but the indians are usually forced to assimilate

Ignorant asf, not every Indian speaks Hindi although it's most spoken. India got hella langauges,phenos, and ethnicities (22). It's 2021 and with Gen Z, there are a lot of accumulated brownboys that don't fit the stereotype
