Who Here Has Actually Gotten Bimax? Are You Happy?

About to pull the trigger on jaw surgery, but wanted to check in with the rest of the site to see if any of you guys have actually gotten it

and if you regret doing it for pain/aesthetics/functional issues, etc.

it’s not the best by any means but honestly you can see in the thread people didn’t wanna go too hard on the kid he was hyped and spamming the board for a while abt it as well lol

it was an insurance covered bimax for fumctional purposes lol

Happy that god gave me the face that needed a bimax, no thanks, i am not happy. Did i look better after ? Yes. Is the time and effort for the procedure worth it ? Depends. You need to have bite issues and real deformities to ascend from bimax.

but functional side is worth it imo, thats why i cage when ppl here with no recession larp about getting trimax / lefort 2/3

How do you know someone’s a good candidate for bimax? don’t worry they’ll let you know how much they fucking mog you preop and how they have all the best prerequisites to ascend

this aint terrible for 2k imo

Happy with my result although it was originally functional, the aesthetic results were also good. I'm nearly 9 months post op now and the only issue i have is very mild lip incompetence.

My side profile ascended the most as you'd expect from bimax. My front looks more 3d, better symmetry, better smile from bracers, small improvements in soft tissue on the lower third, better lips, slightly wider nose. Mostly small but cumulative improvements.

Only thing is a little bit more advancement on the lower jaw would've been better but that would've required anterior impaction which I'm not a huge fan of.

did you read what he typed? if ur long or shortface you def need bimax. its bsso only if u got good maxilla and ur not long or shortface. you need the lefort for downgraft/cw- impaction/ccw

do you think a genio is always needed for a bimax or can you ascend with a bimax alone if you have a deformity/bite issues

not always ofc. In most cases genio is done to camouflage not enough ccw. Or to make more bag

Yeah I’m looking for rhinoplasty surgeons atm for next year to reduce the width of my nose, slightly more definition and a very small amount of shaving of the dorsal hump.
