it helped me somewhat, you have to use it for a long time and the effect reverses when you stop though so if youre 21+ just use finasteride

I did. Density was top tier.

Still a dogshit drug.

Dut + RU + DNR for life

Did u notice it thickening thin areas?
it stopped and reversed temporal recession somewhat, but its not some wonderdrug. takes awhile to work, maybe microneedling added on would produce better results.

Dont start, too much work

get on dut and microneedle weekly and forget about it
I use dut
Microneedling without min is cope
My loss is minor so it’s not a big deal, but I wanna see if I can reverse it

womp womp

Obviously good results, but u can still tell the area that filled in is fuzzy and short
Min would probably improve it
Also some rare people get hairline gains with fin and dut

I've seen your pics and your hairline is ideal tbh , just dut for mantainance and maybe bit of regrowth is all you need

wait really? I thought min was for the thickness of the hair. And fin was for actual hairline regrowth

It helped me in the first few weeks and then my hairline just kept getting recessed
That’s not enough time for regrowth
And were u on min alone at the time?

dont apply minox, your collagen will get depleted temporarily and maybe even permanently

Fin is for maintaining. Studies show increased hair counts, but for the hairline that seems like cope for most people, based on how many people use it. Probably really small insignificant hairs
Min is for growing new hairs but mainly reversing miniaturisation

It is true, but u still need fin to maintain
And like 40-60% of people barely respond to topical min. U can try tretinoin before applying minox as it may help

yea it'll ruin not just the area where u apply it. people have anecdotally said it worsens undereyes and makes the skin look drier
even with topical? How

I think u can keep the gains even after hopping off if uve done it long enough 2+ years

Think that’s rare. Also, dark undereyes mog. Puffy undereyes, not so much

it probably is uncommon but i personally wouldnt risk it. id rather take fin or something else which regrows hair thats safer. they did an invitro study on rats and found minox does deplete collagen production tho. lifeisgood72, a former user, said it depletes collagen and made many threads on it.

It would go away after stopping min
I already take fin and dut, but min is the best for regrowth

id just stop taking it immediately if you notice your skin changing

When applied in your scalp???

I’ve heard of bad skin and under eyes when applied to your brows, but to your scalp bro?

I personally never saw changes tbh. That’s weird

It apparently helps increase sulfotransferase enzyme which is what converts minoxidil into minoxidil sulphate, which is the active form

interesting, i gotta know
1. how would you combine the two, could i just apply my tret on my hairline and then apply minoxidil on it?
2. any drawbacks from long-term/short-term usage?
