When human males on average/high T men always have Wider IPD and wider ICD

Not saying wide set eyes are dimorphic, but how the fuck are close set eyes "masculine"?

I will anecdotally say, lateral bone mass (lateral orbital rims and cheekbones) makes the eyes look closer because the face is wider.

Even if men’s IPD is slightly wider their face is wider, so their ESR is lower

Everyone here knows that average IPD (64/65mm) is ideal, but I'm always seeing people on here claiming that on Men close set eyes look good because they are masculine

I wonder if by "close set eyes" they just mean a lower Eye Separation Ratio caused by men's wider faces, since yes it's true that men have much wider faces

Over for my 60mm IPD, but 0.46 ESR which means my skull is narrow

Men have lower es and midface ratios on average

It's not about ipd by itself

Yes, lower es and midface ratios look more masculine, the opposite looks more child like. Masculine ≠ attractive, but a man can get away with lower looking ipd and still be good looking whereas a woman is more punished

nobody, small eyes are masculine, it has nothing to do with ipd.

I found a really smart way to measure it rn simply using two pencils, byzgo width was +-120mm, IPD 57.5.

120/57.5= (~) 0.479 ESR

Acceptable range of ESR:
0.44-0.49, Ideal: 0.45-0.47 (source reddit)

That explains why my eyes never felt so close even tho they are and morphing higher IPD always looked worse. But that means my head is small too.

Update: measured again now i have 135mm, which puts me at 0.42 esr.

I can‘t measure it precisely at all

Taller faces are usually more dimorphic due to HGH, a long midface also looks dimorphic since women typically don't have a long midface.

TBTW having close-set eyes and high IPD isn't mutually exclusive, just look at Jordan Barrett
