Technically the first notable blackpiller would be Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace since they proposed natural selection

I’m asking it, Am I not, bitchboy?
The premise of the question makes no sense... blackpill is the conclusion everyone with a brain reaches in early childhood. Regarding who coined the term, there isn't any known user, though it emerged in the early 2010s on the psl forums. It was likely just some joke made about a blue or redpiller that organically evolved from there

The blackpill was originally proposed as a contrast to the traditional bluepill and redpill, which valued either personality or money/status over everything else for romantic success. The blackpill, however, argued that looks were overwhelmingly the predominant factor in determining romantic success. It was later expanded to include general genetic determinism, but that wasn't part of it initially. While you could argue that the first self-proclaimed blackpillers weren't actually blackpilled, given the current definition of the word, that doesn't mean anyone who believes in genetic determinism is blackpilled. I feel like saying that they were the first blackpillers is equally unreasonable, as we only know that they fulfilled one of the criteria, which was the same criterion considered sufficient to disregard those who only advocated lookism. If only one "criterion" is needed, then there would 100% have been someone before Darwin and Wallace, considering that lookism is easily observable unless you're retarded.

@shedontluv-U @fedecope thoughts?

disclaimer: i am not very educated on the topic i just know superficial stuff

the post is very high iq and you’re mostly right 😉 but if i’m not mistaken the blackpill didnt only talk about romantic success, but overall life quality and treatment from others

The term blackpill was popularized by a man named Paragon on a blog called Omega Virgin Revolt
That's not true lol. It's nothing more than a half-truth, anyway. That's what comes up in Google's AI Overview when you search it:hnghn: The overview combines two different sources: Britannica and CUJournal. The Britannica page claims that Omega Virgin Revolt was the blog where the blackpill originated, while CUJournal is the source of the Paragon claim. While those claims could complement each other, CUJournal also states that Paragon coined the term on the blog Dalrock. That's not in line with Britannica's claim, which means at least one of the claims is incorrect.

While Britannica is generally a reliable source, I'm unable to find any other content confirming this, and Britannica doesn't provide any evidence or primary sources for the claim. CUJournal stands for Columbia Undergraduate Journal and is associated with Columbia University. While it's generally considered a reliable undergraduate journal from a great university, it's still undergraduate-level and reviewed by student editors rather than established researchers. I mean, as long as they had provided a primary source, that wouldn't have mattered, but they also failed to include one lol.

Yeahhh but it originally focused on the relationship between looks and dating success, given its contrast with the bluepill and redpill. Nowadays, it's expanded to include both though
