Women who call men short kings aren’t saying that to raise them up, the implication that a short man is a king that happens to be short, implies that tall men are already perceived as royalty, and that short men are just the inverse of royalty but given the status of king as to not undermine the qualities they might possess which do not fall in line with being tall(royalty), typically these compliments, phrases, sayings, or even slang terms that one tends to pick up are usually rooted in something much deeper concerning the human psyche and general outlook into the world, the next time someone calls you a short king, call them a chubby goddess
