Why are Anglo countries so much into height?

I live in southern Europe and despite my very short height I've never felt the importance it's supposed to have. Unironically, face here mogs height 100%. However, I'll be studying in the UK next year, where I assume height is king and my chances will be slim to none.
What could be the reasons for this difference in importance? And most importantly, what should be my strategy in the UK considering this?

The closer you are to the equator the less girls care about how you look and more about how NT/dominant you are.

Women in southern Europe lower their height standard for better looks, Women in US/UK lower their looks standard for a taller height

Most ethnic zoomers here or even other ethnics aren't short (maybe 5-10% of the total ethnic percentage), so that thread isn't as accurate but sure I'll give 5'10 as a possibility but look I'm not saying that bongs are short as I said, they just don't seem tall from my experience which is notably from council estate areas (the area I live in now is filled with height moggers which is obvs from the environment)
