I've never seen such an onslaught of bullying against balding men, especially by zoomers. They're even picking up on your norwood coverup game now, you could easily get away with it back in the day and they would only make fun of full blown bald men but now they'll point out and make fun about you balding if you're running some coverup and have mild thinning. I've seen so many tiktoks of jb's saying that boys they have a crush on are balding just because they don't have a super thick nw0. Wtf, this is extremely unsettling.

Society is just becoming more Lookist.

Just like Japan and S Korea where it's completely normal to openly criticise someone's appearance , this is the general direction we are going.

People here are saying its because society is becoming more lookist,but imo I think female empowerment is the main culprit behind all of this sudden upsurge in dragging men on social media for their sub chad looks.If the reason was because society is becoming more lookist then women would also be victims of this same looks shaming but this is never the case,and if anyone dares try to get on social media and drag women for their looks you will immediately get banned or called out for being misogynist etc.

This is also why you'll notice that men on social are dragged the most because of their face and height,the 2 genetic factors which are the most out of their control to fix.

Because now there are better treatments, so being bald is a class / status thing.

There is no longer an excuse to bald as a man.

If you are norwood2 'mature hairline' or have a high hairline, it's fucking over for you.

A lot of guys in their 20s develop a mature norwood2 hairline. 20 years ago this was completely normal and fine.
