Why are compact midfaces considered attractive

I’ve been confused with this most slayers are pushing horse status and people say compact is more attractive i feel like if your lower third is longer than your midface you look weird

1:1 Midface is ideal, and 1:1 and 1:1.02 is compact. But overall, a longer Midface is more dimorphic than a more compact Midface (ideal Mfr is 0.98-1.02

ive noticed that europeans from the west tend to have longer midfaces because theyre most likely from africa and eastern europe much shorter because theyre siberian
