I dont know why the Scottish foid in that video thinks she has the authority on who is Irish or not
The American accent foid has the most Irish name possible so it's likely her parents are from Ireland or if not she has a large percentage of Irish blood
I think any Irish born people trying to gatekeep "Irishness" from other ethnically Irish people raised in different countries are quite arrogant for doing so
Who am I to deny someone from pride in their heritage
A large portion of people trying to gatekeep Irishness will probably end up emigrating and raising their children in another country and I can bet they wont be trying to withhold Irish influence from them.
I also believe Europeans without any Irish blood can be "Irish at heart" just by relating to us or feeling a sense of belonging
From my time in Slavistan I couldn't help but tell multiple slav males how much I appreciate their manner/demanour, it's like they are humble and show automatic respect to strangers while also not being pussies.
Part of me feels slav at heart despite no slav heritage
