Title tbh. I often see international students going to the US, UK even Ireland and Germany but rarely if ever France why is that? Education system of France from the few minutes of research I've done seem underrated to me Schools like Sciences Po, Sorbonne, and the Grandes Écoles are on par with other western anglo sphere schools. They also have great buisness schools like INSEAD, HEC Paris also. They also hand out of scholarships often. tuition is also way lower than the US.

From the pictures I've seen the cities look beautiful and the countryside also looks beautiful from rolling hills, vineyards, castles everywhere. Paris alone has some of the best architecture, museums and street life in the world. So why is France not considered to be a good location. On reddit they say it is because French people are racist and rude unlike Anglos who are way more welcoming to Immigrants and they also don't like giving jobs to foreigners.

Generally the ones who seem to want to study in France are the ones from former French colonies. France is like an after thought for most international students. When imo it should be in the A list.

Ig it's bc France prefers taking those who've already graduated. Like I remember reading Algeria stopped giving medical students their degrees bc all of them were being invited to France.

if they really do this then good on them. a lot of western countries have problems with international "students" that then happen to hop behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler and annihilate a family of 5 on the highway

Doctors are generally in shortage in all countries in the west because of low birth rate and medicine being a grueling slog for 10-12 years to be qualified practitioners. Why bother becoming a doctor when you can just NEET

i don’t know to be fair.
My city is pretty shit so i understand why there are no international students even though the uni is really big.
People probably prefer going to scandinavia or america that’s why.

Its rare to find degrees exclusively in english, and no one can be bothered to learn gay french.
