My surgeon is giving me a choice between a round chin implant (he's used them more often), and a bit more square chin implant. The round implant has a mm or so of extra projection, and the sides of the round implant are slightly longer, meaning they'll augment my jawline slightly more than the square implant. I made a thread here a week or so ago asking which I should go for, and every response said the square implant was better and I don't know why. I get that they're a bit more masculine but I already have a prettyboy look from the front and a more masculine side profile. I feel like the round implant would be better considering the slight extra jawline augmentation and projection, but I definitely have some doubts considering everybody seems to be in agreement that a square chin is better. Thoughts?
