In my eyes, there's no reason to make the BOTB criteria complex. If its the best thread available on the forum on that particular topic, let it in. If a better one comes around, we can replace it. Let it be an iterative process, it won't be perfect off the jump, but over the years we'll refine it.

That's exactly why I created that megathread archive which contains otherwise good threads, but maybe not the best of the best when it comes to their respective subjects, but still better than the threads you'd usually see, so they don't get lost to time.
