Why aren't human testicles optimally placed?

Take a lion for example, their testicles are on the rear most part of their body allowing them to lay their legs comfortably while sleeping on their side without squishing their balls

But when I go and try to do the same, my testicles squish and I take 10 minutes moving around every night trying to get my balls in a comfortable position.

Is testicle rearrangement surgery the next meta?

i have tiny manlet balls so i don’t have any problem with laying on my side
