Why ascending doesn't matter

Ascending doesn't really matter the way people think it does. You can improve your face, body, style, or whatever, but if you don't have the confidence to act on it, nothing really changes. You're still the same person mentally, just looking better. You're not suddenly going to approach people, speak more, or take risks just because you look better.

If you weren't good looking growing up, it hits hard. You build your identity around that, and it doesn't just go away. You learn to hold back, not try, and expect rejection before anything happens. So even if you look better now, your mind doesn't update. It still runs on that old version of you, where you feel below everyone else. You end up looking down on yourself without realizing it, and you get scared to actually take action.

Then people start looking at you differently, and it doesn't even feel good. It just feels off. There's a strange mismatch where they see something you don't believe is real. Instead of using that attention, you tend to freeze or avoid it because deep down, you still feel like the same person you were before.

If you're neurodivergent, it makes things even more complicated. The problem was never just about looks. It was always how you process things, read people, and handle social situations. That doesn’t magically fix itself just because your appearance changed. Now you might get more opportunities, but you don't know what to do with them or you hesitate to take them. Your life ends up feeling pretty much the same.

That’s why it doesn’t really matter on its own. Looks don’t carry your life for you. If your mindset and behavior stay the same, it’s just surface level change and nothing more. Sometimes, it even makes you more aware of the gap between how you look and how you feel, which only makes everything feel worse instead of better.

I mean it really depends on the person, for me specifically ngl you are pretty much right lmao but for some people even getting some gym boosts their confidence even without insane results, i’m not even really insecure anymore (except my hair blasted by dut shed but that resolves in a few months i just wear a cap) i simply just don’t even have any idea how to read interest or handle attention, should be like improveable by reps hopefully

Proly solves with time, years of being conditioned as a subhuman definitely left a mark but its only the beggining so we’ll see

actually kind of true, i mean if you're chopped you won't get girls but also if you're introverted and handsome it is hard to pull if that makes sense

Right and wrong - you will get more options to anything, you will get approached more often and the world opens up to you. Obviously if you stay inside nothing will change but that confidence youre talking about is fake i believe. Either you have social skills or you dont. Obviously they can be trained

Most of us who started off ugly would be in an shell throughout their childhood and not being out and developing the social skills that is what im talking about so most of us after ascension would have no social skills and no confidence to develop a conversation with a girl

Than it would be a parenting mistake aswell or something, having no social skills is not to blame on being ugly

You only develop bad social skills from not interacting with others you start at a young age learning people hate you for how you look you get bullied and you start to think everyone hates you then you start spending time alone hating others and hating on youth and there you have it mr no social skills because he grew up fat and ugly

if youre actually nd there might be some truth to it, but most larp about it and with greater looks comes more confidence automatically

Not true, because people will be nicer to you inherently, so you will adapt to it

Also if you were never good looking and after ascending you become gl, while also understanding the blackpill, you'll KNOW better how to act because you understand how LIFE WORKS

Although past trauma does effect people time heals and eventually those that are good looking will be told

Ascending will increase ur confidence by a lot. So many ppl are insecure about how they look and looking even slightly better gives them more confidence and increases social skills indirectly. Being neurodivergent, u obv wont be able to fix the issue completely but social anxiety can def be fixed just by ascending and being more social and getting urself in these tough situations.
