I would even argue gaming is beneficial for healthy brain developement (as a substitute for hunting, its not healthy in comparison to whats available theoretically, but its a feasible option and thus picked by many.) Let me clarify.

Lets take as an example... CS:GO

When you play well and dominate your dop. system (so ventral tegmental area → nucleus accumbens) fires in bursts. That’s the same circuitry that reinforces successful hunting behaviors in predators.

Another example maybe..

Calm intensity is also reinforced through co-activation of dopamine + controlled SNS output + vagal regulation.

But there is a point: If youre extremely shit at a game, because:

ff you’re bad at the game, the SNS floods you without that dopaminergic focus, so you panic-spray or choke on easy kills n shit. That’s prey physiology thats right: cortisol-dominant, low control

lets go for one last..

Also if you kill successfully in games it blunts cortisol output because the brain “learns” the threat is controllable.

Id go gaming is at least neutral for any development.

Idk if what u said is right or not, but i will say something else that never got brought up so far:

Your body chooses what hormones to produce, if u gym for examples you will start producing cortisol.
If you are hunted by wolves you will start producing adrenaline.

When your body chooses to produce these hormones there'll be less for your test n such. Which is the main problem, and cortisol & adrenaline will 100% be produced when gaming, which ofc means there'll be less incentive and demand to produce actual useful hormones.

And this is without mentioning how EMFs from the PC/screen acts as a hormone disruptor.
The blue light interfering with bone formation +more.
The chances of slowly developing forwardhead posture & more.

You dont need to maximize testosterone you need to keep it in a healthy range, although it really can higher test. Too high is also linked to high SHBG which binds that and makes it virtually useless. The body compensates through homeostasis.
