It's the same as the famous advice "you shouldn't care what other people think", (straight) men saying they don't care about the opinion of women are simply larping as the based alpha male whose only opinion he should care is his own.

But by acting and saying that they don't care about the opinion of women, instead of being seen as the based alpha, they are actually projecting an insecure persona towards society as a whole.

I mean, you shouldn't have a black & white view of social dynamics with women, meaning, you shouldn't act like a slave to their desires/opinions, but saying you don't care about them; saying your personal development has 0 to do with women, is pure hypocrisy/coping.

If you're a straight man, you DO CARE about female validation, you do want them to see and desire you.
