Why did Creativity in general go to shit

Ever since more normies have been on the internet sites like youtube , diff forums(including this one) and many others have become less creative brain drains
Anyone feel the same?

I was thinking recently about how very few youtube videos I watch these days satisfy me at all

I was questioning whether this is simply burn out from seeking constant entertainment or potentially the fact that there are now videos on so many relatively curiosity triggering topics that no video feels satisfying to watch any more if there's now an unlimited number of videos being suggested that can offer 7/10 entertainment, it just feels like finding a gem of a video is so much rarer now

Whenever I click on an interesting sounding video title where I know it's going to be some guy rambling and giving his takes, I rarely find a video where a guy gives intriguing takes.
Old youtube was primarily for NDs but now that it's more of a normie activity to start a youtube channel, the amount of unique or interesting takes seems to have decreased.

All of the channels I've put any degree of effort into in 16 years of making youtube channel have taken off quickly
My latest channel was the one channel that I put the most amount of effort into in terms of groundwork (a dozen+ coherent videos produced before I uploaded a single one) and it's the only channel I've ever made that hasn't taken off
Only one video got into the hundreds of views range, everything else is stuck on sub 100 views and unable to crack 400 impressions

Normies flooding into youtube means we're now competing with more normie appeal packaged content meaning more competition for clicks, but the actual content within the videos are largely worse
