I’m no expert on US presidents but so many speak with such a strange cadence it can’t be a coincidence.

They don't you're just stupid

Bush 43 and Carter and Johnson were Southerners and spoke like normal Southerners. Bush 41 was kind of an odd speaker. JFK spoke like a normal 60s Bostonian. The rest were pretty normal. I suspect old recordings of FDR sound odd in cadence because of the technology of the time.

I think JFK sounded quite idiosyncratic.
Obviously they have had some lessons on how to speak clearly, which often means slower.
Obama and Trump both had a strange cadence and intonation.

During the 70s and most of the 80s they did sound normal. But then I feel they started to rely on their speaking coach advice too much

43 was a northern yankee, a fake southerner

FDR is probably an archaic accent, perhaps trans atlantic influence.

I have not heard him in a long time and am not going to youtube now, but I am a relative old cel myself (though not as old as you, no offense) and I have heard similar accents from even older people back when they were still alive

America is controlled now by corporations, military industrial complex, etc it has developed "elite" factions and is no longer we the people. it is converging with the rest of the world and historical norms. the presidency does not pass unnoticed without their say

They're all old or take speaking lessons and grow up educated already so they sound a bit different.
