Why do combat sports attract so many autists

Has anyone noticed the sheer amount of autists drawn to martial arts?
Maybe it’s just my personal experience bias but I was on the wrestling team for 2 years and did some mma as a kid, and it seems like half the people that do it are genuinely neurodivergent. With wrestling half of them were in the band

Because their parents sign them up for self-defence, you only see them in BS karate and kung-fu, not in real sports like kick-boxing or Wrestling

I think it also has to do with how individual the sports are compared to team sports like soccer or football

I knew a kid with genuine retard strength. Was enrolled in special ed classes but could power lift a crazy amount
