Nah. This isn't exclusive to sex anyways, I just always assume people are trying to deceive me.

To a degree this might be true but I suspect it's moreso me projecting myself onto others. I started habitually lying at a young age so I guess I subconsciously assume everyone is like me.

100% this is a factor. My self esteem is so low it's insane, the biggest reason for why I'm not low inhib. So many dudes who look uglier than me but are happier because their self-esteem is good and they're deluded about their looks.
