Why do I look better with some shirt and smaller with certain shirt?

I look bigger/wider naked but with some clothes I look smaller and with some cloth I look bigger.


I couldn’t pinpoint why specifically tbh, it’s confusing but usually those better quality branded fabric clothes makes me looks somewhat bugger as well.

Those from Temu or cheaper generic one from H&M makes me looks smaller tho.

Length of sleeves, neck type, color, cloth, fit, length of shirt, etc

Seconding @BecomingHuman , make of material, sleeve length(every company has different sleeve lengths, you can check in the size guide). More importantly, I would guess it's the color and lateral width(depends on button placement and seams).

very true annoying fact, i have one t shirt which makes me look way wider and mogger.
