why do normies claim that Putin is a crazy person but then aren't afraid of him at all

They claim that Putin is a narcy crazy person who would conquer the world.

but they still don't complain when germany sends tanks to Ukraine, directly getting involved in the war.

I went to a demonstration against helping in this war cause of fear for war and only 80 people showed up jfl I live in one of the biggest cities.

So do they want to die?
