I was doom scrolling on tt and came across the trend known as "optionally chopped" or "same song btw" go check it out if you don't know what I'm talking about but basically it's people either descending themselves with filters (like fishers) or it's sub 5s/ltbs "glowing up" with frauds/filters and I've never understood why people lie to themselves and when I confront them on their coping they call me a miserable incel with no life? It's almost like these people don't want to actually solve their problems they like filling themselves with delusion wouldn't it be great to actually just be attractive and not have to cope with frauds and fake compliments? And I know most people will say " it's just them building self-esteem" but this never made sense to me why would you lie to themselves you don't get to decide whether or not people should like you or not they either do or they don't. Coping just to make yourself feel better? why not embrace reality to come up with a solution that's permanent if you can glow up in hours at home it's not a glow up it's a cope
