ofc mostly if you’re dumb and doing some shit lip fillers cheekbones filler but jaw surgery like bimax or double jaw surgery is almost NEVER looking uncanny or weird

Bimax is high risk
U r saying right stuff and u def got a Point but choose terrible examples besides lip filler

Why is bimax high risk if you have bite problems like an overbite for example ?
Son, if u dont do it at a rlly good surgeon there is good changes things can Go wrong cuz Ur hole lower Jaw is basiclly Not atached to Ur skull anymore, and Even if u do it at a rlly good surgeon there is a high Chance that Ur jaw beckmessert way more narow from the frontview, there r also much more things that can Go wrong

Because there are tons of botched results

not many that many when it comes to jaw surgery like bimax for example success rate is 95% .

On the jaw surgery sub, it does seem like a huge percentage get permanent numbness in areas, although I guess if it turned you into a chad, i'd accept that. I've also seen some results recently where the jaw surgery made the nose look way worse which is another concern. End of the day, it's not without risk or a guarantee you'll look lots better. I'm not sure. I still kind of want it done though, lol.

It's less than that. And the average person would never consider cutting his bones for aesthetics

how high is the success rate? If you’re going to a top jaw surgeon and have a recessed lower third then nothing can almost happen when you get bimax or trimax when it comes to looking very weird or botched ofc health problems and recovery is always bad

"Success rate" isn't about aesthetics

What a dumb thread, you know nothing

I mean some people end up botched. Most people look better then before thou, even if they went to a shitty surgeon.

Partially because most people don't wanna be open about it. So the good results will be hidden, they'll make you think that they didn't have any surgeries. You will see all of the botched ones though. So you'll see 100% of the botched ones and lets say only 20% of the succesful ones. That of course gives people a very distorted view on the outcomes of cosmetic surgery in terms of safety and effectiveness.

I'd say the opposite is more likely to be true. Way less than 100% are open in either case. Botched people tend to hide away and successful cases are more willing to show off their decision/result.

yeah if you’re fucking doing some bull shit decisions when it’s coming to surgeries then you’re gonna look like shit but if you’re going to a good surgeon and getting double jaw or bimax especially when you’re recessed or having an overbite then you will look better lol

I also would hide my surgery results

Partially because of a few select people who go overboard with it, like that one guy who does the med school questions (I forgot his name) or the Bogdanoffs with their filler spam. So people see those cases and think all surgery = bad

Yea bimax usually ends up looking fine

The real issue with bimax is it gets recommended to people (online) who aren't even objectively recessed, it will most likely look horrid on someone with a normal jaw

But very very very few people with a non-recessed jaw will get it anyways. But I can see why some people would hate on jaw surgery because people think it's some sort of "I'm good looking now" button due to insanely cherry picked results

Yeah if you just have a „bad“ jaw meaning a narrow jaw you have to get implants
