Why do so many people larp having a 'high iq' only for it to be like 125

I see so many posts talking about how much they care about iq, and how theyre this 125 iq megagenius, when everybody knows that 125 isnt even that high. I don't know if it's just me that has noticed it or if its just regular larp problems, but why do people larp having a regular iq. i say larping because nobody with a 'high' iq cares at all about iq, theyre just living their lives
