Why do some people delete without a hint

While others disappear.. I'm talking about those with thousands of posts like Octillionaire, Saintoverbuddyboyos and Wayne Sarchosus or whatever his name was. They seemed to rot here, but deleted suddenly with no warning. You are anon anyway. Just request a permanent ban.

I'd rather they do this ot disappear then we can at least view their posts. What good is deleting, just leave and let your legacy and post history be easily accessible and searchable like @Salludon

they have an inflated view of their posts because it’s the main thing they do, symptom of no life, social isolation, low status forum users life. They see deleting their posts as some sort of symbolic gesture about their entire life and how they’re gonna start over, be reborn, nothing left from their old life.

How? The names aren't searchable by member. You can search their old names but that doesn't help if you're looking for specific thread or post.

You type their new name (Deleted Member XXXXX) into the search bar. It won't autocomplete and you will have to type the numbers manually.

For example if you want to search posts from cloUder, you would just type "Deleted Member 13787"
