for instance this Yaremchuk wraparound jaw implant result:
the jaw is wider than the cheekbones, but on the CT design the implant does not quite reach the edge of the malar arch. so why does the soft tissue extend past the soft tissue of the zygomatic arch?
and also why don't surgeons design jaw implants to be noticeable smaller than the bizygomatic width, when every plastic surgery textbook says that the ideal bizygo/bigonial ratio is around 0.7-0.9?
