They do it in order to try and radicalize normies, it's kinda like how some racists will hide behind figures such as MLK, Lincoln, Booker T Washington, etc, when making points that are actually racist or could do harm to a community of people.

(but also normies have the advantage of being....well, normies, so some of them are smart enough not to fall for it.)

As for the Civil War, even though I prefer the Confederates, I admire Lincoln. His plan to repatriate blacks back to Africa was badass.

The Civil War had fine people on both sides.

hes not wrong tho. its obvs they virtue signal so they retain appeal to their audiences. Blacks and palestinians are a massive part of the political climate. obviously some might genuinely feel empathy for them but im sure a lot are virtue signalling given their political opinions on race

Because they hate jews, so to make themselves seem more presentable to the masses, they'll pretend to support Palestinians simply to give the idea: "see, we're not bad guys, we're against Palestinian opression", which is kinda ironic because many of these white nationalists are Americans/New Worlders, and the Americas were built, among other things, on the genocide, enslavament and opression of the native Americans.
