Why does every narrow skull cell have a low iPd?

I’m thinking’s it’s because on a narrower skull their isn’t enough space on the skull hornzitllity for the orbits to be further apart that’s why they always end up closer together

I don’t know if this an accurate theory but it’s gotta have something to do with it, or maybe it’s because low iPd just makes the skull look narrower due to making the midface ratio lower; it could be both

@NZb6Air do you know why? Or is their no correlation and am I tripping

Because the skull is structured around the midface.
If you have a narrow midface you'll probably also have a narrow cranium base

make sense, thanks. I wonder if it’s genatic or environmental to be honest, because it seems like almost every like mouth breather has this same issue, I don’t think it effects iPd but maybe the lengthing of the face makes the iPd look lower?

Idk whats that , can you explain simple for a pajeet

Thats not true cus i have narrow face but i have hunter eyes

i have a wide face and low ipd i dont think theres any correlation

Midface development early on can be slightly affected by the bite forces/mewing or whatever. Even with me my infrazygomatic is developed more and icd is wider from the nasal root on the left side and I can only presume it's because my jaw occlusion was tilted to the left from early childhood making the bite force there significantly stronger.
I also did "mew" or have a proper tongue posture growing up but my tongue was more dominantly tilted to the left and my alveolar arch is projected towards the left and slanted in from the right. My ramus also grew taller on the left side.

But that is a very small difference, barely noticeable.
Downgrowth from mouth breathing doesn't make the nasal parts of the midface longer, only around the alveolar which is reflected on a bad occlusal plane theoretically leading to more exposed gums and a longer lower third, but the mouth stays in it's intended position regardless.

I personally think the horseface look is epigenetic, not normal but expressed shitty development because of bad nutrition or some other physical degradation, but all that is determined in the womb and not malleable on postnatal lifestyle.

Justin Bieber theory

You may just have a low looking iPd cause of wide face cause of your es ratio
yes probably. its very noticeable in pics from far away i have lots of extra space on the sides on my face. looks better when i cover it with hair

I agree with you on that, it’s just weird that how almost every one who’s horse faced tends to have their mouths wide open 24/7, I think it’s because of being horse faced not the cause of being horse faced, what do you think about that?

I said previously downgrowth doesn’t effect mid face length because if it did then it would be easily fixable with a Bimax ccw but it’s not, so I think the only reason horse faced individuals tend to he mouth breathers is because of lack of facial width cause a lack of breathing space making it harder to breathe normally

You just have a wide ass head then, not a low ipd

I dont see how a narrow skull could have high ipd

They already have low oral volume which causes struggle to breathe through the nose, they didn't develop the former because of mouth breathing but simply struggle to breathe properly because of a preexisting predicament.

Me neitjer, maybe a high es ratio but not a high iPd. That one dr strange dude is the one narrow skull guy with high iPd I’ve seen

Im the exception to the rule

My midface is downgrown heavily/recessed, but my alar base is wide.
My dad is similar to me, he has a very very wide skull. I don't. I have a wider than average.
My IPD is slightly lower than average, but my PFL is very good.

I think recession affected me but I kinda got away with it because of my genes. My nose didn't get away with it though. I'm very downgrown with significant paranasal hollowing
But acceptable FWHR + acceptable but unideal IPD

My ESR could be improved upon though. It's too low, makes me look brute-ish

If your orbits were anything further apart they would break out your skull jfl, you still look decent though
Yea. My ipd is jacked (70mm) jfl. But I cope with it being a model trait and it harmonizing with my long midface

they don't
Gandys skull isn’t too narrow, it’s narrow but it’s not heavily.

It makes your midface look not long, that’s the one good thing about it lol
There is always gonna be expections to the rule, in most things expect death.

Is your mouth/nose region undefined?

My upper lip is larger than my lower lips slightly. I have very downturned lips, a sign of recession. I've also heard high Prenatal T and I do have a small Neuro to Splancho ratio, with a flat occiput but it's likely more due to recession
Hopefully a Bimax will fix that
Lip width is also small horizontally. Both parents have wide lips

My nose is undefined yes.

I also have a very recessed negative orbital vector, which gives a bulging eye look. What saves me kind of is hooding for eyes. I'd have preferred no recessed eyes with slightly less hooding for more eyelash show.. but this excess hooding is saving me from "prey eyes" look

Even though mine don't bulge, the recessed infras give the perception of it
Btw my recession is most likely bottom 0.1%.

Do you mind pming me, and my lip defenion I mean like how prominent is your lip not the size of it.

You can have big undefined lips, it’s all dependent on your Philtrum shape

doesnt correlate, i have both wide and tall skull and have slightly wide ipd

my skull is massive and I got the wide ass ipd with it as a bonus <3

My skull is narrow and I have normal ipd

but does it not look worse for a big skull to have low ipd?
