Why does my hair have so much volume

I look like a broccoli fluffy hair mf. Everytime I go to the barber he cuts so much shit off just for me to look the exact same. My hair doesnt even noticably grow in 2 months I just wanna have long hair

no more barbers go to a salon make sure they use thinning sheers on your hair and also ask them to put in as many layers as possible

i got the same exact issue. taken me so long to figure this out and im still unaware of a lot. To reduce puffiness and frizziness use a microfiber towel to dry and sleep on a silk pillowcase. Do not overdry your hair- this will cause puffiness and frizz. Experiment e.g one day dry it a bit with a towel and let it air dry, e.g the next day dry it a bit, let it air dry a bit, then dry it a bit again. You just need to experiment with this shit. Your hair needs to be good quality. If it isnt good quality , buzz it and grow it evenly while using things like rosemary and peppermint oils to improve quality and health. Experiment with diffrent conditioners and honestly dont become over reliant on them, sometimes natural is best
