why does non starch carbs not cause bloat

starchy shit like rice and pasta and bread cause me bloat, but shit like chocolate even in high amounts do not?

Carbohydrate have “hydrate” in their name.
They retain some water in the body.
Creatine makes you bloated because they make your muscles hold carbs and water weight for example.

yes i understand this, but starchy carbs seem to cause facial bloat, making face appear puffy, where as non starchy doesn’t seem to do this.

It’s all the same,at the end it’s just carbohydrates and it just comes on the dosage

don’t think this is the case, yes they may all be carbs, but wether they are simple carbs, complex, starchy, glucose etc effect wether you bloat or not. it’s not as simple as, carbs are carbs, all carbs bloat

Carbohydrates have the same chemical molecule that breaks down into glucose
