Why Facial Dynamism Is the Most Underrated Looksmax

One thing I've noticed after looking at hundreds of faces is that this forum massively overrates static aesthetics. Everyone rates a front pic, side profile and maybe a smile. Real life doesn't work like that.

Nobody sees you frozen at 0.00 seconds. They see you blinking, talking, laughing, reacting, turning your head and making expressions every few seconds. That's why some people who look insane in selfies end up looking completely average IRL, while others somehow mog everyone around them despite having objectively weaker bones.

I think there's an entire category of attractiveness that barely gets discussed here: facial dynamism.
Take two guys with identical bone structure. One has relaxed eyelids, expressive eyes, smooth transitions between expressions, a genuine Duchenne smile and natural facial movement. The other barely moves his face, blinks awkwardly, has stiff expressions and looks like every emotion has to be manually activated.

On paper they're the same PSL.

In reality they're worlds apart.

There are actual studies showing people judge attractiveness differently from videos than from still photographs. It makes sense if you think about it. Your brain isn't evaluating a JPEG; it's evaluating a moving human being. The eye area is probably the biggest example. A strong eye area isn't just canthal tilt or upper eyelid exposure. It's how the eyes behave. Some people always look engaged. Their eyes stay "alive" even when they're not speaking. Others have objectively decent eyes but somehow manage to look exhausted or disconnected every time they interact with someone.

Same thing with smiles.
A natural smile can completely change midface harmony, cheek projection and eye appeal.
A forced smile does the opposite.

I honestly think this is one of the reasons why so many people get confused when they meet influencers or celebrities in real life. Some completely ascend because their face moves well. Others descend because their appeal only existed in carefully selected still images.

Static aesthetics get you through the door.

Dynamic aesthetics decide how people remember you.

That's an area almost nobody here is trying to improve.

You can't lookmax specifically to look good in motion lol
