Why fillers over fat graft?

Whenever I look for under-eye fat transfer, I mostly find people getting HA fillers instead. Why are fillers preferred over fat grafting even though fillers are giga high likely to migrate from that area? I also read a surgeon’s article saying fillers are a better choice for under-eye filling—why is that?

Is that even true or are surgeons just grifting?

they're more controllable, fat grafting is more unpredictable and usually requires a revision

Fat grafting is better for under eye usually surgeons that recommend fillers dont know how to do fat grafting safely there. Both my local surgeons recommend fat for example because they are experienced enough.

Like jfl if you think sugeons know that uee can be fixed by fat graft

Ye lol this is so true each time i asked i asked to fill my upper eyelid they looked at me like an alien and start saying some bs like " this is not done usually but we can do it" etc... never trust surgeons like that it's guaranteed botch, i found a surgeon that when i asked he said sure and showed me before and after so i knew that he was good from the first second

Did you have the issue of bad uee and bad under eyes despite deep set eyes and positive orbital vector

I wanna know bc now my interest is peeked

my orbital vector was slightly negative i have good supras but shit infras and yes still had uee because i had 0 fat there however i decided that implants are not worth and been happy with fat grafting so far you'll look a lot healthier

What was your eyebrow setness

Mine is medium set, not worth doing drop down supra?

Very low set, nah i wouldnt bother with implants personally but up to you ofc

Bc I know fat grafts arent expensive ngl so I do hope that i wouldnt have to get implants because I want to just get one for my ramus/gonions and move on jfl

Under eye filler can be very dangerous, in case it migrates under the eye.

So it’s more about some surgeons not being very good at their job, I guess.
I’d imagine that going to specialists who perform this procedure regularly would give good result.
