Why has alcohol got to be so high in calories?

You eat too little then imo, unless you feel fine on 1,800 kcal. I'd bump it up to 2,000 kcal a day. My deficit is only 200-300 kcal, less than that would make me miserable but maybe you're different
I have cheatdays so that compensates. For example if i go out for dinner at a restaurant etc. I dont count calories and dont hold back on eating a good amount. I prob eat atleast maintenance on those days, once or twice per week
