Why has my PC become so slow?

Was trying to play a game that ran normally a few months ago but now it‘s being displayed at 5 frames per second or so and lagging the whole time.
YouTube is very slow too, my browser often freezes (it always does when I use YouTube).

My internal storage is almost full, could it be that? I would transfer some files to an external storage device if I had one but unfortunately I don‘t. Getting rid of cookies, temporary internet files, history etc. only helps temporarily. Deleting large files (pics, videos) also doesn‘t seem to help much. There is no virus or malware on my laptop. Drivers are up-to-date too.

Any idea? Advice?

Of course I do. I don‘t have an external disk drive. I don‘t think it’s a hardware issue, everything works fine but just too slowly. It has gradually become slower as my disk drive became fuller

nah, I‘m neither tab-hoarding nor do I use too many applications at once. When I check task manager, „QEMU machine emulators and tools“ uses up most of my CPU
