But it literally doesn’t. You make these claims but they contradict all of reality. The media / political system in the west has resulted in more people leaving these religions, which means more followers lose confidence in these systems and abandon them.

Even among the remaining members, their confidence in The belief systems they subscribe to literally decrease heavily every generation (20-30 years). Followers in the modern day have much less confidence in their belief systems than followers in the past, at least within the context of western Christianity.

There’s no increase in the defense of religious beliefs, as most religious people stay silent and move along with their day. They don’t care to launch defences of the religion the majority of the time, which lines up with the trend of every generation Progressively becoming less religiously conservative and religiously devout, not more.

There’s no increase in the belief that followers have for their religious belief systems, they have less belief, partly due to media and societal intervention.

I can't really speak for anyone else, but I'm a firm believer Jesus is coming soon, so that's why I've made a thread or two about Christianity and God and whatnot. Also there is surprisingly more Christians than I thought on this site, so I can actually engage in a convo about it. I seriously believe we're the generation to see the rapture

There's people complaining about when Jesus will return but they aren't grateful of the time they are given to repent and get right with god now. When he arrives, time will be up and then all the hyper-grace believing deluded Christians will be in shock, apart form non believers.
